One account works on all your devices. There is no password: you sign in with Google, by email, with Telegram or with a QR code.
Ways to sign in on Windows and Android
The sign-in screen shows sign-in with Google and sign-in by email up front. Telegram and QR code are under Other ways.
- Tap sign-in with Google.
- Choose your Google account and confirm.
- Tap sign-in by email and enter your address.
- We email you a code. Enter it in the app.
Telegram
- Open Other ways and choose Telegram.
- Confirm the sign-in. You don’t need to enter a code.
QR code works when you are already signed in on another device. A phone always does the scanning; a computer never scans codes. Step-by-step options for a computer and a phone: Devices.
Sign-in with Apple is available only in the apps for iPhone and Mac.
Sign in the same way
Your subscription belongs to your account, and your account to your sign-in method. Sign in the way you did the first time. Signing in with Google using the same email address as email sign-in opens the same account. A method that isn’t linked to your account won’t open your subscription.
Link a second method
We don’t hold passwords, so we may be unable to restore an account if you lose your sign-in method, for example if you sign in only with Telegram and lose that account. To avoid this, link a second method:
- Telegram: Settings → Account → Telegram → Link.
- Email: the ⋮ menu at the top right → Account → Sign-in and links → Email → Link, then enter the code from the email. The Email line is shown only while no email is linked.
Google can’t be linked to an account; you can only sign in with it.
Your support number
In the app, Account has a card with your sign-in methods and your support number. When you write to us about your account, include that number.
